My name is Brooke and I am a social media specialist, a digital marketer, a writer, and a self-proclaimed interior designer. Welcome!
I am currently based in Michigan, born on the east side and living on the west. I pursued higher education through Grand Valley State University twice: first for my undergrad in Advertising and Public Relations with a General Business minor (2018), then for a Masters in Business Administration (2024).
I have been working at Digital Limelight Media, a local medical marketing agency, for over 5 years now and have held several roles throughout my tenure. Currently I am a marketing manager specializing in training and office administration. My responsibilities are wide and varied, ranging from the standard marketing efforts (SEO, social media, etc.) to ordering and organizing office snacks and supplies, and planning company teambuilding and charity events.
I enjoy writing in my free time, and have thus far started over a dozen books. While many will never see the light of day, I can only hope that some will be able to one day bring enjoyment to readers like the books of my youth brought to me.
I have two dogs, River and Rowan. River is a Great Pyrenees/Chow male, born in August of 2014. He is my couch-potato snuggle-bug and the light of my life. He came into my story during a very rough patch, and has been my shining star ever since. His idea of exercise is moving to a new spot on the couch, and I have to admit I agree at times.
Rowan is the polar opposite. While I love her to pieces, this not-so-tiny-terror requires all the snuggles, and if you don’t give them to her w h e l p you’re going to get them anyways. Sorry. She too is a Great Pyrenees mix, though she does have some Shepard and working dog tendencies as a result. She was born in September 2020 so she’s still only a baby, but she has a long way to go before she’ll be allowed to have free rein.
Between my job, my dogs, and my school, I often don’t have much time for anything else. However, I have been spending what little free time I have for the last decade on crafting a fantastical world for my upcoming series. Stay tuned for more updates as I wrap up book one (of seven!), among other smaller projects.
